Ans: The distance between Badrinath and Valley of Flowers is 25 km. You can hire a taxi from Badrinath to Govindghat. From here you need to trek to Valley of Flower.

Ans: Nearest airport of Valley of Flowers is Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun which is located at a distance of 270 km and nearest railhead is Haridwar which is located at a distance of 275 Km away.

Ans: No, There is no accommodation inside the Valley of Flowers; one has to trek back to Ghangaria in order to find an accommodation in the same day.

Ans: It is not a difficult trek. The Valley of Flowers trekking route is well-defined and well paved. Still, you need good stamina to do this trek; it is almost 05 km trek one way from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers. You can also hire porters and ponies.

Ans: No, we do not recommend you to bring the children of any age to this tour.

Q: What clothes and equipment should I carry?

Ans: You can carry warm and comfortable clothing as the weather remains cold in this region. Pack good quality trekking shoes, extra pairs of socks and slippers. You must also carry emergency medical kit, insect repellent, water bottles, sunscreen lotion or any other skin moisturisers as the sun at the top can be harsh.

Q: Will food and water be provided during this trek?

Ans: Yes, you will be providing Indian vegetarian food during this trek.

Q: Do we allowed to Smoke or Drink during the Trek of Valley of Flowers?

Ans: Smoking and drinking is not allowed during the trek. You have to trek almost 05 km (03-04 Hours) one way and need to back by same day. If you smoke than you could feel the problem in breathing and if you drunked you are not able to cover the distance in given frame time.

Q: Is Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib Trek is on the same route?

Ans: Trekking route to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahid is common till Ghangaria. However, from here trekking routes are different, so in one day you cannot cover both the places.

Ans: You can do Hemkund Sahid Trek along with you can visit Charm Dham, Rudraprayag, Rishikesh and Haridwar etc.
