3 Days Periyar Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Cochin - Periyar (337 km/ 1 hr - Approx.)

After you arrive in Cochin, our tour representative will help you with an assisted transfer to Periyar. The road journey takes around 1 hour and is a scenic one—afternoon arrival in Periyar, followed by check-in formalities at the resort. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Periyar

Day 2 of your weekend getaway to Periyar will be exciting when you spend the day having a rendezvous with the region's exotic wildlife. The morning starts with the famous boat ride on Lake Periyar. This boat ride is for around one and a half hours, where you can spot birds, deer, elephants, and boars on the banks of the lake. Next, you can try an elephant safari or a jeep safari. This national park is home to exotic animal and bird species, including tiger, gaur, elephant, Nilgiri langur, Indian wild dog, barking deer, sambar, King Cobra, Python, darter, kingfisher, great Malabar hornbill, and so on. Stay overnight.

Day 3: Cochin for departure

Post breakfast, on the last day of the short escape to Periyar National Park tour package, get an assisted transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
