Austria Itinerary 7 Days
Day 1: Vienna - Salzburg
After arrival at the Vienna Airport, meet our tour representative, who will help you with an assisted transfer to Vienna station. Board Eurail to Salzburg. Once you reach Salzburg, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Then you can participate in activities that interest you. Overnight stay in Salzburg.
Day 2: Salzburg
After breakfast on day 2, embark on a guided tour of the city's famous architectural and historical attractions and some of the enchanting Lake District. You also spend an hour exploring Mondsee Cathedral, a popular day trip destination. You also see the locations where the wedding scenes of the movie were shot. You can stop at Mrs Brown's cafe to gorge on 'Crisp Apple Strudel' if you wish. You are free during the later part of the day. You can visit the remaining attractions such as Mirabell Palace, Salzburg Museum, etc. Stay overnight in Salzburg.
Day 3: Innsbruck
Post breakfast on the 3rd day of the tour, get transferred to Innsbruck by Eurail.
After an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Innsbruck, once you complete the check-in formalities, you are free to explore the place on your own. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 4: Innsbruck
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed with the tour of Innsbruck Swarovski Crystal World. The museum is known for its art, architecture, and masterpieces by Swarovski. Enter the world of crystal, curated by artists from all over the world. Be dazzled by the presence of this surreal beauty. Overnight stay in Innsbruck.
Day 5: Vienna
After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the Vienna City Tour. Explore the magnificent capital of Austria on a 3.5-hour city tour by coach. Cover the major city attractions like the Hofburg Palace, City Hall, and the Vienna State Opera as you drive along the famed Ringstrasse. Next, pay a visit to the lavish summer home of the Habsburg monarchs, the Schönbrunn Palace. Later, proceed to the Belvedere Palace at a discounted price to see Gustav Klimt's 'Kiss' and other famous Austrian art masterpieces. Overnight stay in Vienna.
Day 6: Vienna
Have breakfast at the hotel on the 6th day of the tour. Indulge in sightseeing. The day's first visit is to the Schonbrunn Zoo, situated within the Schonbrunn Palace. Enjoy your loved ones here for around half of the day. After that, leave for your next adventure, a ride on the world-famous giant Ferris wheel, constructed about 105 years ago as the Wiener Riesenrad. Enjoy a round trip along with some lovely views of the city. Stay overnight in Vienna.
Day 7: Departure
Today is the last day when, after relishing breakfast in the hotel, you complete the check–out formalities at the hotel. Later, get an assisted transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
