The different kings and emperors had court bards who usually sang in praise of the bravery of the kings. These songs or ballads also known as 'Rasos', are still heard in the different parts of Rajasthan. Composed by Chand Bardai, court bard of King Prithviraj Chauhan, the 'Prithiviraj Raso' has retained its popularity even today. Folk music of Rajasthan which attract tourists from all over mainly spread awareness on social development and health issues.

Puppetry
