Best time to visit

Best time to visit Bondla National Park is October to June. The climate does not get extreme any time of the month. However, it is best avoided during monsoon seasons, as rains might become a barrier in your safari.

Temperature in Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary (Goa) during summer season reaches 40 degrees celsius. While even in the coldest nights/days of winters, temperature does not dip below 15 degrees celsius. In monsoon season, the area receives average to heavy rainfall.

The park is open all days except Thursday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Species of flora and fauna seen inside the park

Some of the species of animal found inside the park are leopard, cat, toddy cat, wild boar, panther, sambha deer, giant squirrel, elephants, deer, langurs, bison and serpents.

The sanctuary has been well protected and there are easy accommodation facilities available for visitors. The ecotourism cottages have 2 dormitories with 48 beds that accommodate around 24 persons.
